Haliente’s Lounge is the perfect venue for your intimate event. The lounge right now can accommodate up to 60 people for a cocktail party or set-down reception. The lounge is equipped with a fully functioning bar. 

 

The lounge is located in a Heritage building which is the older commercial building on Barrington Street! With a Georgian era style complemented by a perfect dash of a modern look, its 11-foot ceiling makes this space one of a kind in the heart of the city minutes away from the Halifax waterfront, public gardens and more. 

 

The space is equipped with state-of-the-art lighting and sound system, DJ available upon request, bartenders and of course an Afro-Latin dance instructor to keep your guest dancing, moving and having fun. You can combine the bar, Salsa, Bachata or Kizomba lessons with the venue rental for a rental fee discount.

 

Full Day Rental (up to 8 hrs) $1000 or $750 with a $600 minimum spend at the bar.

Half Day Rental (up to 4 hrs) $750 or $600 with a $350 minimum spend at the bar. 

​

Include an hour lesson in any style for $150 ( normally $250). 

 

Please note: The renter will be responsible for the full rental rate if the minimum spend at the bar not met.
